Given that our temps have been in the high 80°'s for the last three days, I probably shouldn't be surprised that my broccoli has bolted and was blooming this morning when I checked on it. This is the first time I've attempted broccoli so I had no idea it did that. Should I give up on it for the season since it looks like Virginia's going to just skip spring this year or should I try cutting it back to see if I get any more edible stuff?
