I've had it for over a year, and it's been putting out a ton of new leaves. When it starts to droop, it needs water. So, it started drooping, I watered it, and few days later it's still droopy. So, I watered it a little more. It's still droopy. It's been in it's pot for a little over six months, so, I doubt that it needs to be repotted. Maybe it ( Read more... )

You might actually be overwatering it. Plants typically just like a good drenching and then to dry out - watering a little bit at a time can lead to root rot pretty quickly.

When it initially started drooping I checked the soil a couple inches in, and it was dried out. So, I gave it a little water, but not as much as usual. That's why when it was still drooping I gave it a little more.

I killed my first one with root rot. =-P This one has been healthy though. It's got a ton of new leaves... it's just droopy now. =-(

They are super sensitive to bright light. I accidentally scorched mine by moving it out onto the porch, thinking it needed a bit more sun.

It was really overcast today, and it's still droopy. =-/ Maybe I'll move it away from the window and see if that helps. The other plants by that window need the brighter sun light. I'll maybe try repotting it if that doesn't work... it has almost doubled in size.
