Introducing myself...and a question...
Hello all!
My name's Nancy and I am new to this community but have been gardening since I could walk. I was always the first of the five kids in my house to race out to the garden to help my mother. Those times are long gone, but I still crave fresh grown veggies every summer. I had been growing only in pots for several years until I bought this house. Last year, I expanded what I grew to include many of the veggies of my childhood and noticed how expensive it is to buy starter plants and it looks like they are going to be worse this year. So I have decided to try and start the plants myself. I was wondering how many of you start your own seeds for the season and if any of you have any tips for someone doing this for the first time. Also, I would love a good internet source for buying good quality seeds, if anyone knows of any.

PS...I think I am also going to try Square Foot Gardening this year...any of you do this?
