A year ago someone gave me a length of Devil's Ivy in [what I can only assume] is an terracotta pot. The ivy never did well. I tried watering it, I tried not watering it, I tried it in almost every window of the house, I tried talking it into growing by having deep conversations with it. Nothing worked. It had some better phases where all the leaves would be a nice green, but it was mostly bad phases where the leaves would be wilted or brown or just plain fall off. This summer I gave up and got rid of it and repotted one of my begonias in the ivy's old pot. This begonia LOVES LIVING. It thrived... until it was repotted. In the two months since then the begonia has gone from vibrant and tough to a wilty shriveled ghost of what it used to be. The stems look like they've been mummified; they're all caved it.

So. Is the pot cursed? Could something gross be leeching out of it and killing off my plants? How should I save my lovely begonia? Plz send help. D:
