Path question

Hi

I am making a small raised-bed garden with narrow paths between the beds. I am not sure what to put on the paths. Bearing in mind that I will be walking and kneeling on them a fair bit, to attend to the beds, and that they also have to be moderately attractive (or at least not ugly) as they are in the front of my house... any suggestions? Pros / cons?

I thought about bark chippings on top of weed control fabric, but maybe these will move about too much as I walk around on top?

What do you all use? How do you find it?
