I'm not sure who else is into organic pesticides, etc. but I found one that has been very effective so far. (Although the formula will probably cost you more than something you can just buy in the store :). I pulled this from online a couple of weeks ago when I started noticing some little bugs hanging out on my plants. Now there are NO BUGS hanging out except for a few annoying red ants.
1/2 cup of red (hot) peppers
1/2 cup of mint
1/2 cup of horseradish
a dash of cheyenne pepper
1/2 cup of green onion tips
blend (with a little water). Hold your nose when you open the blender - I'm serious! Strain in 1/2 gallon of water and 2 tbsp of liquid soap. When you're ready to use, make a 1:1 ratio of the formula and fresh water
I think the formula is good for 2 weeks if you refrigerate.
Important: if you get this concoction on your hands, DO NOT RUB YOUR EYES!! I speak from experience (yeah, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer).
