Greetings from LA!
I am sitting a computer in a coffee shop while Becky is at her comedy class at The Groundlings studio. LA has been awsome. So far I have:
-gone to the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in West Hollywood. Oh my God, there couldn't be a bookstore more up my alley!
-ate at various hipster cafes and restaurants
-went to Dresden, which is the bar where they filmed Swingers, there was a jazz trio singing "Puff the Magic Dragon"
-went to an awsome improv show at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre where Becky interns, it was right across from the Scientology Celebrity Center (sooooooooo scary and big! dude, scientology centers are like Starbuck's here)
-had a celebrity sighting!!!! While in line for the improv show, Sandra Oh walked by!! She is much shorter in person than you might think. Becky lives about a block away from the studio where they film Grey's Anatomy by the way
-did the touristy stuff like the hand prints, wax museam, driving around illegally in various private communities in Beverly Hills near Mullholland Dr. (I took some amazing pictures of the view)
-went to Venice Beach and chilled, talked to some random woman in a smoke shop about Salvia
-went to City Walk at Universal Studios, ate at a Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant, saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Well, that's all for now, tomorrow we are embarking on a mini-trip to VEGAS!!!! Can't wait to see everyone when I get back. I will update more later.
Oh, one last thing, I will be getting back close to 11:30pm on Monday, anyone interested in picking me up from the airport? If not, that's ok.
