ai! yai yai, ai yai, ay yai, ay yai!
this weekend just exploded and got mess all over me. i cant believe how much happened...elipse
SEGWAY(i know this isnt spelled right, but at least its phenetically correct)
Friday i missed school for snowboarding, got 27th place which is 4 places from qualifying (good enough for me by far) half pipe comp was canceled due to craptastic weather and moved to saturday so i had to miss my saturday art OBT drawing to drive up rediculously early. Then sarah, pears, carlen, mufasa and i went to Animal Collective concert... yea i ate way too much at Todai before hand (4 really full platters, esp sushi and desserts) so the multitude of melancholy songs really didnt work well for me. the concert was good but fell short of my expectations. my idea of what the concert should be was way above delivered standards: i wanted men in large animal costumes jumping excitedly around - i got 4 men in sweatshirts moaning over ambient noise. wasnt all bad tho, they played "we tigers" which definitely made my night. before they played it i had been making wooping noises just in case they'd hear me and get the hint.
then saturday came with way too little sleep. i did the 1/2 pipe competition and apparently we got third and a metal - yay solo! i came back to LO in time to play South Eugene for a rugby game. we killed them. my favorite moment of the game was when this girl, huge beast named Ruby, got a yellow card for totally body checking Kylee when she had a break away run. Kylee was going nealry full speed and is out in the open so everyone can see. instead of outstretching her arm and making a tackle, she just hurls a shoulder into kylee sending her flying in the air. not that i have naything against kylee, shes a friend who i count on my fingers (meaning at least one of my top 10, fo sho) but its always hilarious seeing someone flying in the air. then i went to my second basketball game in all of highschool. it was awesome and i pretended to have huge school spirit with my Laker Towel and Laker basketball tshirt. we won in overtime by one basket scored in the last .2 seconds of the game. gg kevin love. and you think saturday might be done there, but o no, the night was just getting started. meehan then came over to my house to watch pride and prejudice, which as far as i watched was pretty good. too bad i slept through the second half. mr darcy is always so amazing... i think i love him more than most... or maybe thats why its considered a romance novel. so sorry meehan for sleeping while hanging out with you, but your shoulder is just SO comfortable! aight, so now you think sat is done? well you are wrong, my friends, o so terribly wrong. i dropped off megan, saw i had a missed call from Ben From Benson. called him, found outthey were up to making mischief and of course i knew i had to come. i met up with them at forest hills. tony climped around with his grappling hook while i attempted to play foursquare, and then i played the most amazing game of Tag in my life. taunting tim and hurting my ankle when i jumped off the playstructure were some of the highlights. stas trying to do the g-force spinner while smoking and ben hiding for hours also definite memorable moments. that was an excellent way to end the longest day ever.
at that point, i had driven over 330 miles just in friday and saturday.
so sunday. i had planned to go to the mtn again but sleeping was such a better option. plus i didnt qualify for the BDX elimination round so i decided not to go. i slept in til noon and did Leo club, decided to kill the both romey and daisy while trying to walk them. (jack can live... hes the best dog in the world)i cleaned the house since my mom was out of town this weekend, i did my spanish class, i did no homework and yea.
here i am

so now i talk about how tricky fate is. apparently friday night, when all of us were in downtown eating Todai, there was a city-wide pillow fight going on in pioneer square. for those who might not know, Todai is direct neighbors to the square, but they way we drove and wlaked, we totally missed it! think of how amazing it wouldve been! one of the vols i tutor said there were around 800 people in the square will pillows just running around and having fun. how could i have missed it? and then, to spite me for not going to the mtn on sunday, i found out from matt tonight that at the celebration banquet my name had been called twice for prizes at the raffle. they were GREAT prizes too. i couldve had both a SnowSkate board and a SEASON PASS TO TIMBERLINE!!! but no, just chances, i didnt go and therefore couldnt win or accept the prizes. ive been kicking myself to hard that i think i might get some imaginary bruises. i just gotta reassure myself and say its just how it happens. we only see the good things we missed out on, maybe by not going i missed out on something that truly terrible coudve happened, like "thank goodness i didnt drive to the mtn because i couldve died driving there!" (esp on such little sleep)

played minesweeper for an hour... wasting my life away. i deleted that game but my dad told me how to get it back... thanks dad...
talked to my bro tonight about matt, moral of the story is talk to him. matt came to my rugby game and was amazing. generally is amazing but it there are alot of things that seem wrong to me. it seems like he would rather hang out with any friend besides me. it seems like he cant/wont talk to anyone about how he feels regarding anything. it seems like he is tired of me either just because weve been together for so long or becuase hes trying to decide wehter he actually still like me enough to keep dating me. yea... i know its time to talk. tomoroow after school were hanging out.
