i can finally see the light at the end of the long, dark, snowy tunnel! the snow has stopped (and no more is forecast until monday), the sun is shining....

so the dig-out begins again. :) just in time to get to the wine expo on saturday! yay!

i just can't get over the amount of snow we got. my yard is almost completely full of snow! the snow is nearly at the top of the fence in some places. here's a picture that i took from my porch of my side yard on 8-9-2009 next to a picture from the same vantage point today, after the blizzard ended.

have i mentioned we’re being buried alive? here are a few pictures of my yard at 9:00 am ( this morning )
