fun fact: life is not fair. you (and that's the royal you) can try your best, work your hardest, and still not win. true story.
more people should learn that lesson. i'm constantly amazed at how often people get incensed about life not being fair or things not working out the way they want to.
here's a tip - the world doesn't revolve around you. and just because you want something, even if you actually do deserve something, doesn't mean you're going to get it.
