snow storm!
we're getting a huge snow storm right now. it started in DC around 9:00 last night and by 9:45 this morning, it looked like this outside my front door....
and here's a shot of the side yard.
they just upgraded the winter storm warning to a blizzard warning b/c the winds are picking up. by the time it's finished, we should have between 15 and 20 inches of snow that will most likely stick around through christmas. wow! kind of unusual around here. :)
now i'm super glad i ran my errands last night. there's no getting out of here today. i guess i'll work on making holiday chex mix and assembling care packages to ship on monday. (yeah, i know, i should have been done with that wwwwwaaaaaaaayyyyyyy before now. i haven't even begun to think about holiday cards. maybe i'll get started on those too. heheheh)
