[One of the settings randomly appearing in Luceti's outskirts is a marsh. Lovely swamp and a mucky mix of long grass and water that's probably soaking through whatever footwear you were wearing. There's a very ungainly-seeming chocobo, about 5'10", that is hopping from one claw to the other on a higher and drier piece of land. It seems skittish ( Read more... )

I think I saw some houses about southeast before... so this is somewhere northwest! It was kind of tricky seeing them. [Aerith isn't that familiar with glitches--though at least they were the real Luceti houses. But she partly just wants to find her way out already and when you're lost in a bog, isn't it best to just pick a direction and keep going that way?] I'll head that way!

But--will you be okay? I know, I know, you're a SOLDIER, but...! [BITE-SIZED.]

[Well he is careful, but that doesn't always work out in the long run. Thankfully he's already north anyway, so it's just a matter of running to the western side of the village. It's pretty obvious when he reaches the swamp, too- it's familiar, vaguely, and it smells funny. Ten steps in and his boots are already waterlogged.

Now, where would a chocobo be hiding...?]
