Pretty good weekend and an easy week coming up. My boss isn't in this week and we get two days off, so it's like woohoo!!
Friday
I had my celebrate-diversity breakfast with work that I'd been planning for 2 months and did essentially all the work for. It went off without a hitch despite shitty weather, and everyone said it was awesome. My boss told me I did a great job, and some of our senior board members said it was the best (insert name of where I work here) event that they'd ever been to. Wheeee.
Then I hung out with Tyler, ate an Anna's quesadilla, listened to some music. Then I went to the Buffy sing-along at midnight with Lindsay Metivier, Kendrah, Deb and Ernie. I hereby reiterate that Spike's song does not suck.
Saturday
Slept in late. Started playing old Game Boy games on my emulator, but decided that I needed a USB controller to play my Mario platform games effectively, so I went to Best Buy and got one. Then I slayed through the first Super Mario Land game. Watched nature specials and movies from like 5 til 11 and then conked out.
Sunday
Slept late again, ate TJ's whole wheat bagels & whipped cream cheese for breakfast, which are surprisingly good and I recommend them. They toast well. Then I saw Casino Royale (summary; B+, hottie Daniel Craig, good start to new Bond franchise, will see sequels), came back to a plumbing problem in our building which got fixed that day (amazing on a Sunday) and then went to try to play trivia at Charlie's Kitchen but there were no seats. So we went to Bertucci's instead and got yummy pizza and desserts. Then came home and watched Planet Earth, a BBC nature documentary that is amazing.
