"We should just get married or somethin."

Blah kind of day. I had a meeting with my group for my Culture of Europe class which went alright. I'm nervous because I suck at oral presentations, but at least it'll be over with tomorrow.

Friday night I went over to Martin and Zack's for some Yuka, which was good times. I hadn't seen them in a while so it was good to hang out again. Then Mike called me around 12:30 and asked if I wanted to have tea with him, so I left around 1:00 or so and came back home. I wasn't planning on hanging out for too long since I had to work on Saturday from 12-8, but I ended up staying till around 3:30 or so. We smoked and watched Edward Scissorhands and just kind of lounged around and acted ridiculous. It was great.

Work on Saturday was pretty hectic and I found out that I might not be home for as long as I intended for Thanksgiving and Christmas. When Kathleen hired me she asked about my availablity for the holidays and I told her that I only had about 5 days for Thanksgiving and 2 weeks for Christmas. She said this was fine, so I thought nothing of it. Now all of a sudden she's saying she can only accomodate one holiday per employee which is total bullshit. I haven't been home in almost 2 and a half fucking months and I've worked for her every weekend and any day that I was scheduled. Now all of a sudden I might only be home for three days which is hardly even worth it if it takes almost four hours to get there. I'm just getting really restless. To be perfectly honest, I don't give a shit about Williams-Sonoma. I don't cook. I just don't take it as seriously as a lot of people do. I'm probably going to quit after Christmas so I can get my 40% discount, and maybe find a job at a day care or something. We'll see. It's just absurd because I feel like if someone is going to be hiring a college student, they have to understand that there are certain times they really need to be home. And that it's not all that simple to get there. BLAH no more complaining.

Saturday after work Adam came over and we got more boxed wine and watched Render. He ended up leaving around 12:00 and I ran into Sean when we went outside. Sean ended up coming back and we watched half of Amelie. Mike called around 3:30 to see if I'd be up for a while and I wasn't planning on it, but I stayed up anyway. Sean ended up going to bed and Mike came over and we finished Amelie and drank more wine. I went to bed around 5 and woke up later than I wanted to, but oh well.

My day was semi-productive which is more than I can say for most Sundays. I just hate that it started to get dark 5 hours after I woke up and that I'm still slightly hungover.
