halloween!

it's like we get halloween three times this year! friday the 29th, saturday the 30th, and sunday the 31st. i'm trying to think of ideas to go with my long dark hair + bangs, and considering having more than one costume. here are some ideas:

Click to viewpros - pretty easy: i have a 1940s suit i never get the chance to wear, it's an excuse to do my hair fancy which i so rarely do, and i'll just look a little creepy by using too-light foundation oh yeah, and by BEING A REPLICANT.
also, i can use the line "are you testing whether i'm a replicant or a lesbian?" at any given opportunity.
cons - not really all that scary. not very recognizeable.
2. bride of frankenstein
pros- very recognizeable, pretty easy.
cons - still not really that scary, how complicated would it be to get my hair like that and have it stay all night?
3. vampira
pros - fun, campy, but still creepy. pretty easy, i could whip something up just from things i already own...
- also maybe i could convince simon to go as ed wood? or bela lugosi?
cons - i've only seen plan 9 from outer space and don't really know all the much about her... and hell no my waist is not that tiny but still i could accentuate it with a pushup bra and bulk up my hips. + i have bangs and it would be hard to get those out of the way

my friend anne-marie and i are probably going as the twins from the shining on the 29th, i so want to find a hotel so we can just stand in the hallway and scare the SHIT out of people.
it'll also probably be an homage to diane arbus, seeing as the identical twins were from around the same era and anne-marie and i are both a bit darker.
