Today's Top News Stories:

1. A report released by The Lancet, Britain's (and the world's) leading medical journal, says 655,000 Iraqi's have died (not by natural causes) since the US occupation began in 2003. Bush says no.
In fact, Bush claims the methodology unreliable and places the number much lower. However, the methodology is actually the same that is used for studies by the US government.

2. North Korea is testing some giant bomb but probably won't use it, we hope. Bush is like, we aren't invading North Korea. so that's good. we don't have any troops left to do so without a draft anyways. So, no. Let's be good human beings and negotiate.

3. Yankee pitcher Cory Lidle dies in plane crash. Not to mention that the plane HIT A FUCKING BUILDING! When I first heard this on the radio I was like "shit, another 9/11" but it's not actually that bad. Just pretty surprising that the news cares a lot about this Yankee and not about the political significance of a plane crashing into a NYC building, again.

Wow. The news makes me angry today. Maybe that's why I don't follow it generally...
