Jill Scott Is Amazing...
This chick can do it all. She acts (well), she sings (well), she writes (also well) and she overcame a fucked up, poor childhood to achieve all of it. I love her positive attitude and her kick ass soul. She's inspiring.
After they covered her song on 'Glee' last week, I remembered that I've always liked her and started reading about her a bit more, and I have to say, I'm impressed as hell. Take a lesson, people. Even when the odds are stacked against you, if you believe in yourself and never give up - you can do and achieve anything you want in this world.
