short week
We left for our little Ludington vacation Sunday afternoon and I quickly got over my guilt about missing work. We spent all day at the state park Monday, hiking the trails and picnicking in the woods. It was awesome. We saw a lot of wildlife, including a pair of nesting swans that were still in the process of building their nest, and it was about 15 feet away from the boardwalk trail we were on so we had a great view. We also saw a deer, lots of turtles, fish and birds, and caught a snake. I had my film camera so I won't have pictures til next week. Another highlight was running down three flights of stairs and across the hotel at 8:57 Monday night after we realized that the hotel's time for free cookies, from 8-9 pm, was almost over. We thought the stairs might be faster than the elevator.
I think I am going to start an Etsy shop, I just need to come up with a name and a bit more inventory. I usually give almost everything away that I make, so I don't have much on hand right now. Or I end up wearing it myself - I think I have three hats. Oh well.
