Last night Josh and I caught the very tail-end of the weekly Wednesday cookout that serves our neighborhood at the tiny church on the corner. Our neighbor gave us a box of leftovers to take home, but before we even got out of the parking lot we were assailed by a mass of children asking if they could have the various foods we'd been given. So we started out with a big bag of spaghetti and tons of veggies, and ended up leaving with some celery and carrots.
I only have 5 more minutes on this computer (I'm at the library), so I'll have to continue this later. But our neighborhood is an interesting place.
