New York city, NYC, pretty mean when it wants to be...

So since we had nothing to do last Saturday and we both had a few days off, Cha Cha decides to Kidnap me for a ten hour drive to New York City. I didn't really believe her. She only had till wedensday so I figured she just give up somewhere in Niagra or something. I donned on me somewhere in the Catskill mountains that I was really going to New York. We were wired on no sleep, coffee and adreneline. We entered Manhattan sunday noon and took a leisurly drive through the Bronx. Really nice place. I wanted to stop for the Yankees/Tampa game but Foley woulda killed me if I went without him. We drove up 5th ave to central park but you quickly realise there is no parking in this city so having to pee badly we set off to find an affordable hotel. Member wre left very spontaniously without looking anything up. F&%k it. So then we get lost in Newark. What a shithole. Witnessed a truck full of leaking toxic waste. Two guys stripping a car in broad daylight and a shooting that was on the news that evening. We got the hell out and ended up at a nice super eight motel in North Bergen New jersey. Where a nice little Porta rican bus runs you right into Manhatten for two dollars. We did the whirlwind tour cause we only had two days. First off we got dropped at the port Authority bus termonal. We stepped out to Times Square. Cruised through Central park. Checked out ground zero (where we heared of the brilliant plan of building a new tower twice as tall as the originals!?) and went off to have a pint at the closest pub we could find. The place was called Biddys, an Irish bar not two steps from Ground zero. One of the engines from the plane that hit the tower first literally landed outside the doorstep. We then went off to get drunk in Greenwich Village. I will totally recomend a bar somewhere off 3rd called the Slaughtered lamb. With a bartended named Ginger from Winterpeg here in Canada. Day two we did the same. I had the best Long island Iced tea in my life at a place called Taquillaville, served by a girl named Eva. It was deadly. Guginhein...natural meuseum... more central park... more times square...then of to Grand central and back to Greenwich. Were we spent the night at the Blue Note with Kelly Sai and her huge voice. New York City kicked my ass.

Ill be back first chance I get. Who's comin with me...?
