I saw Brian AGAIN at the library. I just walked away and didn't say anything. Then I realized I that I was gonna regret it and I pushed myself to go out there and make him nervous. I went up to him, tapped him on the shoulder, and then said hi to him. He nervously turned said hi and turned back around. Then I saw him leaving the library and he didn't even give me a glance. Good! I want him to feel nervous and like an asshole. Exactly what he deserves. So I met Pete last Friday. He came over to our little get together. He looks a little better than he did on his pic, but I still wasn't physically that attracted. However, I'm not the type of person who goes purely on looks so I talked to him and got to know him. He's a decent guy and I had a good time talking to him. He doesn't drink at all and because of that he wasn't as open as I wanted him to be. He drank root beer the whole night. I kept cracking jokes like "don't go overboard now, you don't want a hangover". I asked about why he didn't drink and it's because he father is an alocholic. I can relate. He talked to me the whole night and made a turbin for my beer. I kept switching it from beer to beer doing a little flirting. I'm still not sure how he was feelin' me. We talked all night and he wants to hang out with us again this weekend. I told him about the WIDB/SPC softball game and he wanted to play, but due to the fact that he's not a member he can't. He left at the end of the night and gave me a handshake...A HANDSHAKE?! I thought it was a sign that he wasn't into me, but it could be me being a pessimest.
The next day was softball practice but we didn't make it. I was ready by 1 but Ryan Kelly just started a pot of ramen (he always does these types of things) so I was a little hungry too so I thought "why not". So we ate some ramen, watched Invader Zim, Dave DaRosa came over, and by the time we were done eating Steve came over and practice was done. So we decided to play a fun game of softball with friends. Steve said to call Pete so I gave him a ring. He couldn't play because he had to chauffer a friend's parents. He asked if we were still on for hanging out next weekend and I was like "you know it". I told him I saved the turbin and he laughed. We talked for maybe 3 minutes then he had to go. We got ready to go play and we got to the parking lot and the assholes of Home Rentals towed his car. I have NEVER seen anyone get towed during the day. Such bullshit. So Dave got his car back and we played some softball. My team won and I was MVP, HOLLA! I am still sore to this day from running. You think it wouldn't pahse me since I work out like 4-5 times a week. We went to Kristen and Jennifer's for the white t-shirt jeans and sunglasses party that night. There was lots of same sex kissing going on. Amanda Guzik made out with Jamie (Paul's gf), and I made out with my friend Ty who happens to work with Kristen. We only did it for shock value, but then later on we did it again out of drunkeness. Then later on for some reason I kissed my friend Bobby on the lips. Damn alcohol.
As for Pete I'm gonna ask him out on Saturday night. I'm getting second thoughts about if he's into me or not because I usually know how this story goes. Like I said tho, it's hard to read him. He should be calling me within the next 3 days because he said he was gonna give me a call sometime this week. I have his number but I'm gonna be patient and let him call me. I don't want it to be another "I got dissed for not being a white boy" scenario again. Oh yeah, we were watching The Incredibles Sunday night and I was saying how I think Mr. Incredible is hot and Cherylee was like. "OMG, he looks like Pete!" Then we started laughing. He kinda does. He's 6'2, 220lbs. He kinda has a football player's build since he used to play hockey. I think all my friends like him so hopefully we'll see what comes out of it.
