Deep Throat... revealed

Tagged, I'm it.
1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video: Me personally? I own the Film Festival 2003 DVD and a couple of tapes of Pachanga Latina. And FWWM. That's it.

2) The last film I bought: For someone else? I think it was when I bought "AntiTrust" starring Ryan Phillippe as a gift in 2003. For me? "Fire Walk With Me" for $5 used from Blockbuster. Also in 2003.

3) The last film I watched: "Dick" starring Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams. We watched it tonight in honor of the identity of Deep Throat finally being revealed this week. First, I'm fascinated with the whole Woodward and Bernstein/Watergate thing. Second, we watched "All the President's Men" and "Dick" two years in a row in Journalism. It was a celebration. Third, my friends and I acted kind of like that when we were fifteen, except on a much smaller scale.

Side note: Last film I watched before that was Star Wars: Episode 1: the Phantom Menace, because I, too, am seeing all of the Star Wars movies in order. And Brendan owns all of them and graciously rewatches them with me. It's a good time. Only one more movie to go until we have to go to the actual theatre to see Episode 3.

4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me (in no particular order): "Dick," (see above) "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," "Fire Walk With Me" and/or the complete "Twin Peaks" even though that's not technically a film, "Napoleon Dynamite," "Big Fish."

5) Tag 5 people and have them put this in their journal:
No!

Quotes from "Dick:"

Bob Halderman: I have met yams with more going on upstairs than these two.

Dick: Checkers--shut up. Or I'll feed you to the Chinese.

Betsy Jobs: You kicked Checkers, you're prejudiced and you have a potty mouth.

Arlene: How dare those people keep treating us like stupid teenage girls.
Betsy: We are stupid teenage girls.
Arlene: No. We're human beings!
