20. The Hippocratic Crush (On Call 36h) [HK]
Woots! My first HK drama in a long while..I've heard heaps about this show so I was kind of expecting a lot. Maybe I'm now too conditioned to watching those romantic love stories and sappy stuff that male leads are expected to do for their girls in korean dramas. I wasn't particularly impressed by this drama. Partly because I work in a hospital as well...you kinda know the disparity between drama and real life. The scenarios that happened in the drama were stuff that you knew would never ever happen in a real hospital setting. For one, doctors cannot wear tee shirts and jeans to work and get away with it just because they have their white coats over. Anyway I liked kenneth ma as the endearing Yat Kin and Tavia as Fan Tze Yu (Yu Zai) but their chemistry didn't exactly blow me away either. Maybe Im just too demanding but anyway I'm glad I finally completed this show. No more medical dramas for me for now. Just reminds me of sickening work.
I wanted to dedicate this post just to the drama but my mind is preoccupied with BIG BANG! I am so suffering from Post-AliveConcert-Withdrawals cum depression!!! I've been playing Big Bang songs, Mvs and fancams to death since the concert on Friday! I miss those dearies:( I don't regret spending that money on their live concert because they, for one, sound really good life, and look really good upclose in life!! Too bad I wasn't in the mosh pit area! I wanna see GD, Daesung and TOP upclose! Hahaha taeyang the exhibitionist who loves his clothes off rather than on is really cool on stage as well. He's kinda always the super hyper one. Seungri...well....this has nothing to do with his recent scandal but I just don't really go for him. haha! I wish I could go back to that day:( Anyway saturday was a super cool night as well since I could basically hear their songs while sitting outside the stadium. It was such a nice feeling to know that you're near them and that you can hear them. Sigh...wish they would come back really really soon!
