More Codgerisms

Codger has decided that I am THE go-to computer resource. I got my first warning of this the day after I switched back to first shift. "Thanks, I've been wondering about that. There really hasn't been anyone around to ask since you've been gone."  *forebodinganddread*  Furthermore, each time he calls me over to his desk, he begins with "Gabe, since you make house calls..." and he is not in the least deterred by my insistence that I don't. Endings to that sentence so far include "...how do I make these numbers the same?" (center-align) "...do you know where my frog tabs went? I can't see them." (maximize the project window within Excel) and my favorite "...do you know why my screen turned green?" (I'm on break.)

And then today, quietly floating over the divider from the next cubicle: "Lord, take me now!"
