(no subject)
So, the semester ended well i guess. I ended up with a 3.7, but i just didnt feel like the grades were what they should've been. but i guess thats the perfectionist side of me, and i really should shut up and accept what i got. and i guess i'm not the only one in saying that this semester just wasnt my fav... it seems like everyone i've talked to felt like first semester soph year just kinda dragged. I'm glad i guess, b/c it'll hopefully just get better. atleast next semester i'll have Spain and my internship to look foward to!!
Kauai trip was AMAZING. i really loved leaving the whole commercial Christmas behind, and just spending time with the pink polo fam. (i guess thats 4 years of past retail christmas just about doing me in...it was so wonderful not to wake up on the 26th and go into talbots/gap and deal with the rush of customers) And kauai was so beautiful and hottttt... I EVEN TRIED SURFING!!! and i managed to get up on the board and everything! the fam did one un-announced pink polo night, and one night where i demanded we all wear our pink polos. it was wicked funny, b/c people kept asking us about the choice of outfits/if they missed the memo... we resorted to using the, "if we told you, we'd have to kill you" line...
Being home has been great. Seeing the girls has been wonderful, and not doing anything for an entire month is nice i guess. I wish i had a job to work at tho during the day, i've been so antsy that i've re-done my room, re-organized my closet (twice!), color-sorted my clothes, taken down/put back up the canopy (i cant sleep without it), and written out a NRHH training guide and a IRHA conference prep... i need something i can get paid for!!
on a completely different note, cara's finally bought her tickets to the states, and she'll be here on July 1st!! yaaaaaay!! and then i'm back to england in December after my program lets out in Granada for Xmas and a bit of euro-touring!!
so lifes pretty much fab, and hopefully 2006 will remain that way. :-)
