Public Service Announcement
The following was posted in Ben's journal this morning...it's a joint-posting, so here goes:
This isn't an easy thing to write about, and George and I have let many people know already, but we wanted to say something here as well. We love each other a lot, but have decided it's best that we aren't partners anymore. That may be a shock to some people, which we understand.
We want to stress that nothing horrible or dramatic has happened and that we are going to remain friends. We have had 6 1/2 great years, years that I consider to be the best of my life and I wouldn't trade for anything. We won't go into any details here, but we feel it's time for this to happen.
Also, we have made many wonderful friends as a couple, to whom we are benandgeorge. We want everyone to know that there is no reason to choose sides after we split up, so no Team Jolie vs. Team Aniston situation. We know who is getting which dog. We'll be OK.
