What the duece?
Ok, I'm mad. I told myself that when I signed up for this I wouldn't rant about anything that actually reflected my feelings (of course I actually want a GIANT ROBOT, but that post was made in jest.) However, something happened that I feel must be addressed. I take great pride in being a wordsmith of sorts. I try to come up with new words or turns of phrase in my everyday speech. I find it amusing, and I think others at the very least find it vexing (as long as I'm making a lasting impression.) Anyway, on to the point of all of this... I was watching tonight's episode of The Late Show with David Letterman (which may I say is the greatest show of all time?) The guest was Jason Biggs, star of such films as American Pie and Loser, and he was rambling on with boring stories and whatnot, but all of a sudden, he said something that caught my attention... he reffered to his wank as his "deal!!" Now, anyone who knows me is fully aware that I have been using that word in that context for quite some time now, and as far as I know I made it up. I've never read, heard, or seen it used that way outside of my group of mates (and I watch a LOT of TV.) So, has it spread accross the country from person to person tracing back to me? Or is Jason Biggs just as amazingly clever as I am? (Unlikely.) Either way, I said it first, and I'll never get the credit for it... BLAST!!!
