Quiero aprender Español

For the past few months, I've been flirting with the idea of learning Spanish. I took a semester of it in middle school, but I'd long since forgotten all of it except the numbers 1-10 and a few random nouns. I bought a DIY-type book-CD package, and after a little over an hour, I can count to 100, say the days of the week, months of the year and the four seasons, and I know enough verbs to form dozens of simple sentences like "I want to [verb]" or "Are you going to [verb] the [noun]"?

I tried the same thing with Korean a few months ago. It took me an hour just to learn the basic pronunciation, and I still hesitate when trying to count to ten. I can only recite basic greetings, form the simplest of sentences, and I can only remember about half a dozen verbs. After learning Chinese, some Japanese, and a miniscule amount of Korean, Spanish just seems so easy it's not even fair. It's no joke, Asians really do have a monopoly on difficult languages.
