100 days left to Beijing Olympics

Apr 30, 2008 23:02

That's right folks.

100 days left and the celebrations begin. And to mark the celebrations, a bunch of amateurs have decided to have a fun run. Beijing is promised to be a high-quality Olympics and progress over at Tianjin has been stepped up. The Government has stepped up the measures on stopping druggos  and these Olympics are looking to have a impact. Hilariously enough, vegemite has been banned from the Olympics as the government is expecting food to be brought from Beijing. Encouragement of trying new things in the spirit of the Olympics? I don't know about you but I'd prefer vegemite sandwich to dog. Foreign volunteers are also looking forward to the Olympics which is to promote friendship. And after a rather dramatic and...entertaining journey of harmony, the Torch has arrived on Chinese soil. In time for the celebrations, the clothing lines and theme song for the Olympics have been finalised.  And just so you know, Jay Chou's song is known as qian san wan shui and the music video has begun filming. The song announced on the 100 days celebration is called Beijing huan ying ni. Though the sponsors have decided to cut back on spending, the plan to take the torch to Everest in going ahead. Already the Olympics spirit has inspired and the weather is looking up for the beginning.
