Everytime a Japanese whaler kills a whale, Manga writers kill off another good character.
Please think of the anime characters as well as the whales (and the fangirls who will cry after said character dies).

1. The song originated from a Latin hymn called 'Adeste Fideles'
2. It is believed to have been written by John Francis Wade in 1743 though it is possible that it was written in the 13th century
3. It was known for a while as a Portuguese hymn after the Duke of Leeds heard it as a Portuguese embassy in London and therefore assumed (though incorrectly) that it had originated in Portugal.
4. The music to the song was published in early 1700 by John Reading
5. Rev. Frederick Oakley is believed to have reworked Adestes Fideles into the familiar translation of 'O Come All Ye Faithful'
