making new friends
i always seem to make friends with very interesting people. i met this girl named kristi at the y and we have been working out together. she is sweet, kinda country, wants to be a vegan chef and she's only lived here for 3 months. i've been hanging out with nick all summer and haven't really tried to make new friends around here and i was excited to find someone like her. so anyways like the 2nd time we hang out she starts telling me about her life. i originally thought she was like a goody goody b/c i told her about bottletree cafe and she seemed like she didn't want to go there after i told her it had a bar. well it turns out she used to be a stripper in chattanooga, used to do drugs and be an alcoholic. she even met her husband in AA. its weird but i've always wanted to know what its like to be a stripper even though i would never do that. she was telling me some interesting stories about working there. one was about how she met this rich man that would go there a lot and how he let her live with him for 2 years in his mansion, gave her a credit card to use and she never had sex with him or anything. this chick needs to write a book about her life. lol.
i think its pretty cool to be friends with people that are kinda crazy. kristi likes to go out and have a good time and since nick is going to alabama now i really need to hang out with some girls. its also cool to have a workout buddy to get in shape with. maybe she can even teach me how to dance on a pole haha. i mean i know that shit isn't easy to do so it must be a pretty good workout. i've always wanted to take stripaerobics. i feel like the older i get the more i want to milk my looks while they last. i'm about to turn 24 and i'm having a mid 20's crisis. so i bleached my hair and i'm trying to get in shape and i've been wanting to dress more hoochy lately. i just don't want to accept growing older and getting fat and having wrinkles. i don't want to turn out to be a boring soccer mom that has a minivan and wears clothes from talbots. i've been feeling like i need something exciting to happen lately so i'm glad i met her.
