DAMN THE MAN
Talk about frustrating! I REALLY NEED TO DO A MUSICAL! Its been over a year since Ive directed one. But NOOOOOO. There isnt anyone who plays piano around here and if there is, not any one who I could afford. And the MTI Jr. collection is for like first graders. I've tried looking at karaoke cds but none of them have the full shows. And on top of that we have no freedom for dance music, cuts, tempo, etc. So I guess its back to the regular theater. I mean, I've had fun with Fools and the one-acts, but there is only so much you can do with them. I mean, we have had sold out audiences and the shows were hysterical, but its not as impressive as a musical is. And not as challenging either. I am happy doing smaller projects but I want to do at least one musical a year! Thats not asking much! I used to do 3 a year! BLAH!
