The games have opened in Athens!
Normally, I could care less about some sports event, unless however, that event happens to be the Olympics. It's even more enthralling for me this year for two reasons. Reason number a: (yes I know) It's in Athens, where the whole shindig began. Reason number b: Greek mythology man, I mean really now!
Anyway, so that was my kick for today. TOMORROW is the tourney at Bell's where HOPEFULLY I won't embarass myself too much with my poker skills (or lack thereof). Either way I am off to Bell's tomorrow but will miss Trinity on Sunday. I know its a regular thing (sorry to those of you who play) but as its my last Sunday home before I go to college, I'm not gonna lose it.
And with that said, reality has yet to sink in that I leave for college in only three days. That's a very scary thought, even though I do look forward to it in many ways.
Ah well, in sports, poker and life, let the games begin!
