Funny fact:
So, ya know how people are calling me "Lyse" now... Well, I told my mom about it, and get this - She was called "Nese" (pronounced "neesee") in college! How crazy that our college nicknames are the same sort of thing! Gosh, was I laughing hard when she told me that! I couldn't believe it! Thought you would all get a kick out of that...
Revelation of the day:
I don't keep in touch with my high school friends enough. Cell phones should increase and ease the conversations that happen. Welp, I can't say that I've been doing very good in that area... SO... I'm going to try to improve.

Pastor Cunningham made an awesome analogy to the relationship between us and God. Here it is (in the first person)...
I am a violin string.
By myself, I cannot sing or make any music.
God is my violin.
I am bound to my violin.
When I am bound to my violin, I can sing and make beautiful music.
This is the only true way to do so.
