In an attempt to be proactive, I have been thinking about next year's Reading Bingo card. I'd like to get it all done ahead of time so that it's ready to go on the 1st January. I had an idea that as it's the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next year, it would be fun to make that the theme of the Reading Bingo. I've managed to come up with 15 suggestions for the squares, so I just need another 9. These are the ones I've got so far:
A book set in England
A book set in Scotland
A book set in Wales
A book set in Northern Ireland
A book that features a queen
A book with the word queen in the title
A book with a character called Elizabeth
A book by an author called Elizabeth
A book by a British author
A book by a female author
A book that was written in 1952
A book with a crown on the cover
A book with a (mostly) red cover
A book with a (mostly) blue cover
A book with a (mostly) white cover
I was considering a book that features a coronation or celebration but I thought that might be too difficult to find. I'd also thought of books set in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Belfast but decided to go for the countries rather than the capitals. According to Goodreads there are lots of books with the word platinum in the title, so that might be an option. A book about a princess or with princess in the title might be a possibility too.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for squares or thoughts about the idea?
