Two Doctor Who posts in a week!
The BBC announced just a couple of hours ago that Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall are to leave in 2022.
I knew there was a reason for that bizarrely random video the other day! Apparently the next series will be on later this year and will only have 6 episodes. Next year, there will be three specials leading to Thirteen's exit. How very Ten of her.
I had seen quite a few headlines over the past few weeks that said Jodie would be leaving after this next series, so I'm not entirely surprised by this. Those sorts of rumours, along with who is the running to be the next Doctor, seem to increase just before there's an official announcement. It seems as though Olly Alexander's name is being mentioned quite a bit to be Fourteen. Not sure how I'd feel about that, he seems so young!
