I thought you died alone, a long long time ago

This post contains comic book Wolverine and spoilers, so if you're not interested in the first and don't want to know the second, you may want to skip it.
Still here? Okay.
At the beginning of last year, I discovered the website iswolverinestilldead.com which was created following Wolverine's death in The Death of Wolverine series in September 2014. It was a surprise that Wolverine had been killed off in the first place and the idea that he would actually stay dead didn't seem feasible - no death is permanent in comic books! By the time I found the site, he already been dead for a year and a half, and there had been no sign of his return. Part of me wondered if it was likely because he'd been killed off in such a definite way, but at the same time, knowing how important he is to Marvel comics and how popular he is, it did seem like it was only a matter of time. He has been replaced in the X-Men by Old Man Logan as well as Jimmy Hudson (Wolverine's son in a different universe) and the Wolverine mantel has been assumed by Laura (X-23) but they can't compare with the original. I mean, it takes three of them! I added the site to my feed reader, mainly out of amusement, and on a daily basis it updated to let me know that Wolverine was indeed still dead.

Until Monday, that is, when I was greeted with this:

Three years after he was killed off, it appears that he is indeed alive again! Even more of a surprise is the fact that Marvel has not made a huge announcement about it. They announced that after 13 years of death, Jean Grey was returning in the new Marvel Legacy series, but Wolverine's return was not mentioned. It isn't even on the cover of the relevant comic book (Marvel Legacy #1) and it's just hidden away inside. It seems like such a a strange way to bring him back. It wasn't a series I was really interested in but if Wolverine's return is in it, then obviously I want to read it. I'm sure there's lots of people like me who would get the comic just for that reason, so why make it such a big secret and risk losing all those possible sales? But what I want to know is how is it even possible?!

The last image of Wolverine at the end of the Death of Wolverine series is this:

He's lost his healing factor completely and has become encased in adamantium - he saved several others from having it injected into them as part of a revived Weapon X project and in doing so risked his own life. Without his healing factor, there was no way he could recover from being covered in molten metal and as it's indestructible, how could he get out? It seemed a very definite end. But apparently not! Seeing the picture of the adamantium shell split open actually gave me goosebumps. It is nice to have him back. I rather hope he stays!

i need a wolverine tag, #1, of books and comic books
