On my last visit to Charing Cross, Dr Seal discussed getting a hysto which is something I want, even though the idea of more surgery petrifies me. I need to get a referral from Dr Lorimer first so it was suggested that for my next appointment, I'd see Dr Lorimer first and then Dr Seal. They changed the appointment system a while ago so that rather having a letter sent out with your next appointment date on it, it's arranged before you leave. Mine was to be in October this year so I'd got a date that would be in half-term with both appointments one after the other as Dr Seal had suggested.
When I got home from college today, there was a letter from Charing Cross waiting for me. I had my suspicions about what it would contain and sure enough, it was to tell me that my appointment with Dr Lorimer has been rescheduled. It's now going to be the following week on a Monday. It's so annoying when I have made an appointment right there at Charing Cross for a particular date when I will be available only to have it rescheduled. The annoying thing is this time that I need to see Dr Lorimer first and I need it to be when I don't have college. But obviously, I don't yet know what my timetable will be like in October. But if it's anything like this year, I'll have college on Mondays. So I'm going to have to ring them up and explain all of this and get them to reschedule both appointments so they're on the same day without actually knowing when I'm going to be available. Last time I tried to reschedule an appointment, I had to send them a letter explaining why I couldn't make it for 9.30 in the morning so I really hope they don't have me write in again.
I will be so glad when I finally never have to go there again.
