I had meant to post about my exciting time in Manchester well before this but I've been so knackered that I've only just got round to it! I think it might be kind of long so I'll split it up into two parts

Yay for good film festivals! I'll have to investigate those links later after I rest and try to get caught up on stuffs. Also yay for being able to access Ancestry at the library, but poo to not getting more info. That sounds so frustrating. I hope Oldham has what you need but it's such a pain to have to schlep out there.
That's a shame that Bar Burrito wasn't very good at all. If it's worse than a 7-Eleven burrito, that's ... appallingly bad. I'm boggling a little bit at the notion that something could be less good than a 7-Eleven burrito, but it sounds like you found perhaps the one place that managed it. Poor boy. :( The I ♥ MCR signs do sound very nice although it's a shame that it took rioting and looting and vandalism to make that happen. But it is nice to see something good come out of all that bad feeling.
I have a programme that lists all the films that were shown so if you're interested, I can let you have all the titles. I don't know if that kind of knowledge would come in handy at some point.
Yes, yay for having access to Ancestry. Didn't that come in handy? :P
Hopefully it won't be so bad getting to Oldham without being in Manchester. It's about an hour and a half to drive there which isn't too bad, it's an hour at least on the train just to Manchester.
That might definitely come in handy and I'd be interested anyway so yus peez, I'd love to have all the titles.
hehe It came in very handy indeed! Fankoo again for all the help. I still need to sort through all the stuffs you found and put it into GenealogyJ. Might do that this weekend.
Yeah, definitely nice that it's just an hour and a half. I hope it's an easy drive and gets you some good useful info to make it worth the schlep.
Belated response because I couldn't find the programme! I have it now so these are all the films that were shown:
Dear Self - Delisubthefemmecub (3.50 mins) Genderbusters - Sam Beliner (6 mins) Dear Dad, Love Maria - Vince Mascoli (4.55 mins) A Short Film About Smoking And Life - Isaac Gustafsson Wood (1.31 mins) Bikini - Lasse Persson (6.43) Flower Arranging For Beginners - Jason Elvis Barker (9 mins) I Am A Girl - Susan Koenen (15.12 mins) [subtitled] The Third Gender - Kit Yan (time is given as 10.42 mins which it isn't but it also says it was made in the UK in 2010 so I'm pretty sure all the details are wrong) My Second Puberty - Louis Bailey (10.42 mins) Transfiction - Johannes Sjöberg (28.19 mins) [subtitled]

It was really lucky seeing as I don't know Manchester all that well and the address given for the place meant nothing to me!
I'm working on part two, I might post it later on tonight or tomorrow morning. Depends how long it takes me to write it!
