Not this again

This morning I had planned to go to the Household Waste Recycling Centre to drop off a load of small electricals that had amassed in the garage recently. Once I'd got that done, I went up into the attic to get out my bag ready for my holiday in a fortnight. While I was up there, I spotted a couple more electrical things that could have done with going off to the HWRC this morning as well so I pulled them out.

I'd ended up at the far corner which was where my stepfather put all of his stuff and I noticed a few large cardboard boxes. They were sealed but not labelled so I opened the nearest one up to find out what was in it. It turned out to be half-full of CDs. The next one contained DVDs and videos, while the last one was full of yet more DVDs. I couldn't believe it. I thought I'd finished dealing with all of those at the end of last year. Although at the time, I did find it a bit odd that there were only 25 DVDs in my stepfather's cupboard. I knew he must have had more but I just didn't know where.

I brought the boxes downstairs and had a quick look through them. The CDs are mostly blank ones that he'd recorded onto so I can't really do anything with those. There's about 40 videos which I doubt anyone will want to buy so they can go to the charity shop. And finally, the DVDs. About 120 or so. They're all in excellent condition, the majority look like they've barely been played. That's something after they've been up in the attic for however long. So now I'll have to go through them all and see how many I can put up for sale on Amazon.

The worst thing is that the boxes were numbered, 1, 2 and 4. Which presumably means that there's a box number 3 up in the attic somewhere. So this isn't the end of it yet. *sigh*

oh amazon marketplace how i love you, the day my life jumped the shark
