Cliches become cliches for two reasons: veracity or mindless repetition.

It is sweet. I hope to one day love someone half as much as my father loves my mother; this is my personal goal in life.

Just as long as that someone loves you at least that same amount too, that's very important as well. I kept forgetting that bit and ending up in shitty relationships so I know of what I speak!
