There's been an announcement from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime, saying: Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.
The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.
It does not sound good. I mean, the fact that a statement has been put out regarding the Queen's health is indicative of the seriousness as it's not often that that happens. In addition to that, Prince Charles with Camilla has travelled to Balmoral, and Prince William is on his way. Having both the current and subsequent heirs to the throne in attendance like that seem to point to something incredibly serious.
Edit at 1.47pm: Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie are also on their way to Balmoral. Princess Anne is already in Scotland as she had engagements there.
