Carnies. Circus folk. Small hands. Smell like cabbage.

The Rob is currently in the dentist chair, getting his toofers cleaned. I'll be there tomorrow, only under the influence of sleepytime medication and will be minus two more teeth when it's all said and done. I've had so many removed over the years because I was blessed with a very small mouth (physically-speaking only) and very large teeth. Anyhoo, I had to call this morning and straighten out the whole "yes, I want IV sedation" thing because they were all, yeah, you can just have Novocaine and you'll be fine. Um, no. I have an irrational fear of Novocaine that I've had since my first cavity. I see that gigantic needle and it's like OGMOASGNAKLJGHAK:J. Every time. My dad has always had to go with me to the dentist whenever there's Novocaine involved, because I have to hold his hand and cry like the big ol' baby I apparently am.

Interestingly enough, no other needles bother me. I even enjoyed watching the tattoo needle on my arm.

We took Max to the Fayette County Free Fair yesterday. OMG, the amount of rednecks there was absolutely staggering. It was hard to tell the difference between the carnies and the patrons. Max worked up enough bravery to finally tackle the Ferris wheel, which he ended up loving. A lot. So much that he wanted to go on it three times. Miss Mia had to sit out after the first round, because it turns out that things going around and around vertically trigger my motion sickness as much as things going around horizontally.

Well, hasn't this been a "me and my issues" entry? My huge teeth, my Novocaine phobia, my motion sickness... next entry, we'll talk about my peanut allergies and my sensitivity to sunlight!*

Anyway, fried dill pickles are amazing and Jersey cows are beautiful. And could someone please look into getting me a baby goat!?!? AGH, so cute I can't stand it.

I love The Dairi Burger blog (a Sweet Valley High review). "I think when Francine doesn’t know where the plot is going she just throws sexual violence in." So true! This and Claudia's Room make me want to go find all my old SVH/Sweet Valley Twins and Baby Sitter's Club books so I can make fun of them.

Okay, I think that'll do for now. I have to finish transcribing another one of these stupid meetings and it is sucking my will to live.

*Neither of which I actually have.
