Okay, my wisdom tooth situation is getting a little out of hand. My entire face hurts on the left side, along with my tongue and my throat. I hope I don't have to do a lot of phone answering today. I don't feel much like talking.
Dinner last night was interesting. I pieced together random things from the refrigerator, freezer and cabinets and came up with:
-Fresh mozzarella-stuffed chicken meatballs (I had thawed some leftovers out a couple days ago)
-Spaghetti with homemade tomato/onion/garlic sauce
-Tortillas with melted cheddar and American cheese and homemade guacamole (I had an avacado, a little bit of a tomato, some white onion and fajita seasoning)
It was good, if not a bit eclectic. I brought a little of the guacamole as part of my lunch today.
Oh, and I want you all to know that I hate Plato's Closet. For the uninformed, it's a resale shop that buys and sells popular brands like Express/Limited, Gap, Guess, Abercrombie, etc. In the past, I've taken my hand-me-downs to one of the stores in Avon, but that's all the way across town. I decided to take my chances with the store on this side of the town, even though I've had bad luck with the little high school-aged "buyers" there.
Rather than explaining it all over again, here's the review I wrote on Yahoo.
I've found a lot of cute stuff at Plato's in Fishers for super-low prices, and unlike other retailers, they always have plenty to choose from in my size (XS/S).
However, trying to sell clothes there is an absolute waste of time. I brought bags of new and nearly-new name brand clothes (including a 100% silk tank top from Arden B with the tags still attached), and the high school girl behind the counter offered me $2.40 for two tank tops, one of which had a small hole in it. She informed me the rest of the stuff was too faded or out of style. I refused the "payout" and will take my chances with eBay.
I was absolutely blown away that they refused to buy anything else. I had some nice stuff in there! The little gap-toothed 16-year-old was all, "Um, like, the rest of the stuff is like, too boxy? And like, faded?" Yeah, okay, Typheaniey. Go die now.
All right, I can't put off working any more. Back to the grind.
