The shirt is the HOTness! No shirt should be so attractive. Heck, I'd flirt with the shirt even if Tom wasn't in it. A delightfully red, evil shirt... Tom so got the idea for red, evil eyes from that shirt of his. He lost it when he lost his body and couldn't live without having something that was red and evil ergo The Eyes! His followers still miss the shirt though.
