gosh...i just...love christmas
its true. christmas (besides my bday) is my favorite holiday. It's just so full of happiness, love and joy. << i sound like some sort of hallmark commercial lol but its true!
so what did i do during christmas? well nothing out of the ordinary. but it was EXTRAordinary (if that makes any sense and if it doesnt then im sorry)
so christmas eve, aka saturday, me and mom pretty much hung around the house, wrapping presents for the family n such, and get this..i played christmas songs on the piano haha << once again...so hallmark commercialish...but yeah then at around 2 we left the house and went to my godfather's house to give the gifts to his family (a tradition we started a couple years ago) and then we went to the 3:45 mass to meet up with my three cousins and aunt. the mass is always pretty much packed way pass capacity, but luckily we got there just in time to grab some seats, and we couldnt find the rest of the family so we just decided to find them afterwards. during mass...i noticed how many cute guys they had around me which made things really distracting (along with the crying babies EVERYWHERE) and after mass we found my aunt and cousins sitting towards the back and we all went to cafe adobe across the street. that was fun...since me and my cousins really hadnt seen eachother in a while so we got to play catch up. then once we were finished we gave them their gifts and me and mom went home.
Since I do believe in santa clause. I tried to get cookies and milk and all that good stuff ready and ended up going to bed at like 12:30..but i always have such a hard time sleeping on christmas eve so it took me awhile to even really fall asleep. Then I woke up at 7, got my mom up, opened presents, watched movies, had hot chocolate, all that good ole' tradition stuff and then at like 1 we left the house and headed over to my aunt's house. We were supposed to be there at 1 but hey she wasnt even finished cooking by the time we came. When we got there everyone had already arrived and then we went and ate. And my aunt cooks about the same great stuff every year. Gosh it took us like almost 10 minutes to figure out the tables situation though bc me and my two girl cousins wanted to sit by ourselves to talk but their brother kept trying to sit with us and then the adults didnt have enough chairs at their table and i was like thinking to myself 'hey we do this all the time what is with this long drawn out table drama' haha but we eventually got it all right. Then we ate, talked and took pics. then the adults took out the alcohol and me and my cousins were like "HELL YES" and they were like um no this is for us...but eventually they gave us some champagne and strawberry daquaries w/tequila in it..(GOOD STUFF omg im addicted to that) and at first they were like "only a lil bit" um 10 minutes later they didnt even care how much we had but i still didnt wanna drink it in front of my mom so when she left the area i went in the freezer and took a crap load of that strawberry daquarie and POURED it into my cup and was chugging it (keep in mind there was alcohol in it...lots) but i never even got drunk i just got really sleepy haha...i think it takes alot to get me drunk but the adults i think were a lil tipsy bc my godfather was dancing (he never dances) and stuff like that...but neways it was just really fun and relaxed...these past few christmas's with my family has been great but this one just seemed so much better out of the other ones(after my aunt had died). Everyone was just having a good time...me and my cousins were blasting music and dancing with the adults gone and just hangin out, and then we also opened presents... I think me and my mom left at like 10 because we were all watching this movie on tv after we had finished eating and cleaning up everything...then got home and stayed up for awhile...and for the past two days after that i havent seen the sun. lol all ive done is ate, slept and watched tv which is fine with me because i needed the sleep. maybe ill get out later this week and do some stuff
