I got passion for drawing againnn! ♥

Thanx for my creative fren Mimoet that inspiring me to draw again after i saw her post at her blog and IMAGINEFX

Actually before i decided to focus on my graphic designer job, i always passionate in drawing and want to be like my 'mentor' Inoue Takehiko (ok, he's not my REAL MENTOR, i just learning through his manga and illustration book). I really craving for drawing until i meet my job now... and suddenly  my passion gone. =|

Until i see her post and her goal to reach 1000 drawings. I feels that i cant lose to her and decided  to learn from basic again and promise to myself that i gonna make 100 drawings!

And yesterday i asked her to be my 'teacher' and she give me the tutorial.

Im having problem with his eyes, mouth and nose. So it takes me 15 min to finish the drawing

Mimoets note: the eyes still flat... X(

Mimoet (from Mike his mentor) said  :
"Don't do shading. You can turn bad drawing into something great with shading, but if it's only line, bad drawing is basically bad."
"If your line drawing and line quality is great, you don't need shading to make your piece to look good.
Well, a well-thought and well-put shading will make the artwork better, but it only works if we have a well-drawn line drawing for the base."
Really great tips isnt it?^^

Alrite, i still  have 99 more drawings to go. I know i cant draw one sketch one day 'cause i still have main job waiting to be done. So i put target, if i cant draw for one day at least in one week i got two drawings.
dont force myself, this project is have to be fun to do =)!

Yosshhhh! time to draw now!! ^^

"Everybody has their own pace to level up, but i learned that we are able to speed up the process through dedication and perseverance" - Mimoet.
