i should be buying my books instead
OK. I love college. I love LA. I love UCLA.
I'm not gonna be too descriptive because I need to go out soon and buy my book...but here goes.
Friday we leave for LA and my grandma cries the whole time. The way was fun because all we did was laugh and stuff, I'm glad my cousin decided to come along. Anyway it only takes us like 4.5 hours to get to LA which was pretty sweet so we're there at around 7. We get to the hotel, change, then go out. We go to Westwood, against my will because everyone from UCLA is there, and we eat at the Olive Garden there. It was pretty damn chilly. I ate chicken alfredo, duh. After that we went to the hotel and slept cause we were tired.
Saturday we wake up early cause we slept early. We go out to Rodeo Drive. We go into this fancy schmancy store but we only want to LOOK at the dresses. When we go in its really quiet and we don't see any employees but then this guy pokes his head out of a dressing room and tells us to leave cause he's fitting someone, whom I think was a celebrity because she was hiding her face. It was SO RUDE. Most of the employees were snobs. Anyway after that we drive through Bel Air and then just go to UCLA and unload my things. My room is alright. I'm in a triple, so there's a bunk bed and a loft bed, which is like a bunk bed but with only a top bunk. I get the loft. The desk under the loft and the closet under the loft. So basically I have my own section of the room which is sweet. I have pictures I'll post them later on in the entry. Ummmm I LOVE MY ROOMMATE LIZ! The other one was there for only 2 minutes then left! She's from Korea and totally FOB (this is hilarious cause shes sitting about 2 feet away from me right now). Anyway me and Liz are like the greatest friends now. When my parents left we went around teh floor and introduced ourselves but our floor is really quiet and antisocial. Our RA is really nice! His name is Anthony - a tall asian guy who seems really chill.
That night my parents pick me up cause I kinda wanna spend their last night in town with them, and we go to Best Buy so they can buy me a tv for our room. The guy that worked there also went to ucla and was talking to me way too much. Sunday morning we unload the tv and then go and eat lunch at Ackerman Union on campus. Then goodbye. It was sad. I cried.
BUT THEN FUN!!!!
I meet up David, my middle school buddy roo!, and we walk around and visit Caitlin another MSbuddyroo who is here because her sister is moving in. These sorority girls try to brainwash me to go to some meeting thats today but I'm not for it. No sororities for me. Ummmmmmm then what...Oh I go to a activities fair with David and Liz but it was boring. So then I went back to the room to get ready for the concert/dance.
So my main objective for the concert was to crowdsurf. This guy Chris said he'd get me up if I want to but then I thought about how I'd get violated. Thrice was okay...too bad I didn't know any of their music and they never played the one song I knew by them. I've never been to a show and can't really say what's a good moshpit or not, but I could totally tell the pit sucked. I was close to it and got pushed around a lot. This one guy behidn me was playing with my hair. It got tiring so we sat down in the stands. Then Common came on and it was BORING so we went to Emily's room, another MS buddy ahah, and it was me, Liz, David, June (Em's roommie), Curtis and Courtney. GOOD TIMES ahahh we jsut put on music and sang along and Juen showed us her sex games and then Kelly Clarkson came on and it was a total Laguna Beach session!!

the dance! so much fun!! guys tried to freak with me but i said no! hahah..i had fun dancing with my group...omg such good times.
i met up with tony too and i saw neil..
and omg i love this place
so many new friends

ok at the dance david was the funniest thing ever, omg soooo hilarious
my floormates are okay. 2 doors down are these guys matt and brendon who are the biggest stoners ever and SO hilarious...i hang out in their rooms when i'm bored. and right next door on teh other side are these asian guys who have the sickest tv ever, its a flat screen and SWEET adn they said we can go over anytime and watch Real World, Laguna Beach or the OC with them any time since they are from the OC and like that show for some reason.
oh yeah at the dance this guy..matt i think his name was..was trying to dance with me but i guess i didnt get the hint til way later and i felt bad. umm and earlier in the day i was waiting for david and this guy just comes out of the building and is like "do i know you" and i'm like uhh..and he says jsut kidding and introduces himself and i'm liek SMOOTH BRUTHA.
