Last night as I was about to drift off to sleep, my cousin Junko popped into my head. I wondered how she was doing. Junko has been battling cancer for the past 3 years or so, and we have spoken about it at great length, her battle with life and motivation to live and what not, and the comparison to what I have been through in the past 3 years as well. Junko has always been an inspiration and a wonderfully dedicated person and family member.
"When Gregor Samsa woke up one morning from unsettling dreams, he found himself changed in his bed into a monstrous vermin. He was lying on his back as hard as armor plate, and when he lifted his head a little, he saw his vaulted brown belly, sectioned by arch-shaped ribs, to whose dome the cover, about to slide off completely, could barely cling. His many legs pitifully thin compared the size of the rest of him, were waving helplessly before his eyes. "What's happened to me?" he thought. IT WAS NO DREAM."
-Franz Kafka
So, I thought about Junko. I wondered how she was doing and thinking of giving her a call to see what was new and how she was feeling. Ended up this morning Junko called because she had a dream this morning about us. She said in her dream my parents had been away (as they had been) and that she had to come and "babysit" the 3 kids because we had been running around disregarding our due responsibilities. Pretty much true...the truth is, I had been doing more than I owed of the chores and responsibility, and it caused conflict between me and my brothers (who were basically futzing around and doing nothing). How interesting, the insight!
Work has been good. I am actually sitting at the computer to do some work and review of the day, but of course I wanted to mention the dream first.
Not sure if PJ is riding tonight...I offered her the day in an e-mail and then tried to reach her at home/cell/work and no answer. I sent her a letter a couple of days back offering her this weekend but no reply...I wonder how she is? It is not really like her not to reply in such a long span of time. I hope all is well.
Friday, Feb 10 I am going into the city. I hope to meet up with Kyle, Os, maybe some other folks. But I am there for a reason, so I must finish my plans before the play.
Beautiful weather today.

Let your unique side shine through. Those who apply the same ideas over and over are the ones who are going to fall behind in the workplace. This is most certainly not the day to follow the crowd. Be yourself and you will stand out and be rewarded.
Horoscopes are fun. Now, on to getting some work done before going to the barn
