A full moon and a baby's face
The full moon is fantastic in the sky, its light mirrored in the chimneys of our neighbouring house. In fact the reflections in the chimneys were so bright I thought they were lit windows at first, only they were too high up.
Annie and Charles' baby is less than a week old. A cute little girl with Annie's button nose and dark hair. I saw her today. I came by with some flowers that I was going to hang on the door knob, I wasn't going to ring the bell, but Annie saw me coming through the window and was opening the door when I was on the staircase. She looked good considering she had a C-section last Thursday. Baby Vic had just had lunch and was fast asleep in her daddy's arms. Even so I could feel a little grip reflex in her tiny fingers when I put my own finger in her hand. Cool.
